*Everglades Birdfest*
Everglades National Park
January, three day event
Participants meet at the festival site and are transported to locations in the Everglades and to hot spots in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. There are guided walks and tours, speakers, and optional guided and unguided activities. Advance registration is required. The Everglades Birdfest site includes a bird list of species spotted during previous festivals, information about past and upcoming fests, detailed schedules and online registration. Sponsored by the Broward County Audubon Society.

Dozens of guided field trips to wildlife hot spots around southwest Florida and lectures at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center at the the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve. Local partners offer field trips, including birding walks, buggy rides and boat tours. Registration required for some activities. Check out Festival of Birds for details. *Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival*

Exhibit area (artists, crafters, businesses, and organizations), field trips, boat tours, workshops, seminars, and special activities for kids. Many activities are free. The Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival site includes detailed information and has checklists of birds seen during previous festival field trips.

City of Palm Coast

Birding, workshops, presentations, kayak trips and family activities. Geared for serious birders as well as beginners, paved trails are accessible to children and those with disabilities. Offering numerous birding classes and trips to such outstanding birding spots as Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Princess Place Preserve.
